Tek Toplama Pike Knitted Fabric
Single piqué, also called lacoste, is a single-bed knit in which knit and tuck stitches alternate to create a fine, regular cellular texture on the face. The repeat runs over four feeders: two courses knit on every needle, then two courses knit on half the needles while the other half hold the yarn as tuck loops. The tuck loops push neighbouring stitches aside and form the small cells. It is the lightest and most common member of the piqué family and the classic polo shirt fabric.
Structure and production
We knit it on 30–34 inch single-bed machines of 24–28 gauge. Ne 30/1 combed cotton at 28 gauge gives a fine polo fabric; Ne 20/1 or 24/1 at 24 gauge gives a fuller, more textured piqué. Weights run 180–260 g/m² and open width 170–190 cm. Tuck stitches make piqué heavier than single jersey at the same yarn and stitch length, and yarn tension needs closer control to keep the cells even.
At Meyas Tekstil we set cell appearance and fullness together with the target weight, check the tuck pattern on the light table, and plan collar rib from the same yarn lot as the body piqué so shades match after dyeing.

What weight and width is Tek Toplama Pike produced in?
Our standard weight band is 180–260 g/m²; width: Açık en 170–190 cm. Values outside the band are developed on request; the target is confirmed on the sample with post-wash measurements before bulk is planned.
Which products is Tek Toplama Pike used for?
Typical end uses are polo yaka, spor üst giyim. Composition options include pamuk, pamuk/polyester; we recommend the yarn and finish according to the product and washing expectations.
Do the cells close after washing?
In tuck-stitch structures the cell appearance can change during dyeing and drying. We confirm compacting and stenter settings with a wash test on the sample and keep the approved cell character in bulk with the same finishing recipe.
