Çift Toplama Pike Knitted Fabric
Double piqué is a single-bed knit in which the same needles hold tuck loops over two consecutive courses, giving a deeper, more pronounced cell than single piqué. The repeat runs over six feeders: two courses knit on all needles, then two courses tuck on the same needle group, with the tuck group shifting one needle in the next repeat. The double tuck enlarges the cell, compresses the fabric lengthwise and makes it fuller and heavier. It is the preferred construction for corporate and premium polo shirts.
Structure and production
We knit it on 30–34 inch single-bed machines of 20–24 gauge, since two courses of yarn accumulate on the needle. Ne 20/1–24/1 combed cotton at 24 gauge gives the standard quality. Weights run 200–300 g/m² and open width 170–190 cm; yarn consumption is noticeably higher than single piqué and is planned accordingly.
At Meyas Tekstil we fix yarn tension against the target cell size, record greige and finished weight with post-wash dimensions, and knit collar rib from the same yarn lot as the body fabric.
Sourcing and sampling

What weight and width is Çift Toplama Pike produced in?
Our standard weight band is 200–300 g/m²; width: Açık en 170–190 cm. Values outside the band are developed on request; the target is confirmed on the sample with post-wash measurements before bulk is planned.
Which products is Çift Toplama Pike used for?
Typical end uses are polo yaka, kurumsal giyim. Composition options include pamuk, pamuk/elastan; we recommend the yarn and finish according to the product and washing expectations.
Do the cells close after washing?
In tuck-stitch structures the cell appearance can change during dyeing and drying. We confirm compacting and stenter settings with a wash test on the sample and keep the approved cell character in bulk with the same finishing recipe.
